<p>Yinelenen dosya, seçilen sürücülerde veya paylaşımlarda yinelenen dosyaları arar.</p>
<p>Bu bağlamda, yinelenen dosyalar birden fazla kez varmış gibi görünen dosyalardır. Bu tür gereksiz dosyalar disklerinizde ayrılan alanı gereksiz yere artırır.</p>

<p>Dosyaları kopya olarak tanımlamak için hangi kriterlerin kullanılması gerektiğini tanımlar. İşte mevcut stratejilerin bir listesi:</p>

<p>Bu seçenek varsayılan olarak karşılaştırma için MD5 sağlama toplamlarını kullanır.</p>
<p>Bu yöntem kullanılırken, her File’ın içeriğine göre hash değeri olarak adlandırılan bir değer hesaplanır. Aynı içeriğe sahip dosyalar aynı hash değerine sahip olacaktır, farklı içeriğe sahip dosyalar neredeyse kesinlikle farklı değerlere sahip olacaktır. Karşılaştırılacak içerik olmadığından boş dosyalar yok sayılır.</p>
<p>Bu, File’leri adlarına, boyutlarına ve tarihlerine göre karşılaştırmaktan daha doğrudur, ancak aynı zamanda çok daha yavaştır.</p>
<p>File’in arama seçeneklerinde, bu yöntemi bunun yerine SHA256 karmalarını kullanacak şekilde ayarlamak mümkündür. SHA256 algoritması, MD5’e kıyasla istatistiksel karma çarpışma riskini daha da azaltır, ancak aynı zamanda önemli ölçüde daha yavaştır. Bu seçenek yalnızca uzman uygulama modu kullanılırken görülebilir.</p>
