<p class="p_Normal">Puteți decide dacă TreeSize ar trebui să urmărească legăturile simbolice și punctele de montare (consultați <a href="notesonntfs.html" class="topiclink">Note privind NTFS</a> pentru informații suplimentare) care trimit la alte unități sau foldere de pe alte unități. Legăturile care indică în interiorul directorului scanat nu vor fi niciodată urmărite, pentru a evita ca referințele circulare și folderele să fie numărate de două ori.</p>

<p class="p_Normal">Anumite tipuri de căutare, cum ar fi căutarea de duplicate prin intermediul sumei de control MD5 sau căutarea personalizată pentru conținutul fișierului, accesează conținutul unui fișier.
